Evolt Active App users can now complete 3D body scans in the comfort of their own homes
Health and wellness company Evolt today unveiled a major update to its Evolt Active app with the revolutionary inclusion of 3D body scanning for app users, all in the comfort of their own homes.
With its quick and easy 5 step capture process, Evolt Active App users can now create full 3D avatars of themselves with reliable circumference measurements. Personal data analytics and body composition is delivered immediately to a smartphone, and users can start or continue their fitness tracking.
Evolt chief executive Ed Zouroudis said during these unprecedented times when social distancing was a necessity, the introduction of at-home 3D body imaging within Evolt’s fitness tracking app was essential.
“Evolt Active App users are results driven, and this upgrade to 3D body scanning is a way to continue innovating and providing state-of-the-art technology for those wanting to stay on top of their fitness, health and wellbeing,” he said.
“Our Evolt 360 Body Scanners are utilised in gyms and health centres across the globe, but we wanted our app users to gain the advantage and also have the 3D body scanning technology at their fingertips.
“By downloading the Evolt Active App, they can scan their bodies with reliable and repeatable body scanning technology available in a smartphone and keep on top of their fitness goals, all while staying in the comfort of their own homes.”
The 3D avatar displays your external body image, which compliments the Evolt 360 internal body scan perfectly. The 3D scan is a great tool for people who are remote or do not have an Evolt 360 scanner in their area.
Simple and comprehensive for Evolt Active App users, the new 3D body scanning feature provides analysis solutions for individuals in an easy, non-invasive way. The 3D body scanning and analysis repeatability is closely aligned to the ISAK (International Society of the Advancement of Kinanthropometry) Standard and there is only a minimum of 2 measurements of each body part captured within 2% of each other.
The 3D capture process within the Evolt Active App is quick and easy for users, with a step-by-step guide on how to correctly align the smartphone camera for a series of front and side images.
